EXPERIENCING WATER ISSUES?

Residents who experience issues with their private well quantity or quality that is believed to be due to municipal groundwater taking can submit a claim directly on the Region of Waterloo Well Interference Claim Page. Alternatively, residents can submit a claim or request assistance by calling the Service First Contact Centre at 519-575-4400.

TIPS FOR RESIDENTS
Keep Baseline Records Handy: Before submitting a claim or contacting the Region, ensure you have your well construction records, recent water test results, or maintenance logs ready. Having baseline information helps streamline the independent technical assessment and speeds up the review process. If you experience a complete loss of water, temporary emergency water supplies are available while your claim is being processed.
